Drawn to the mountains from New Orleans, I moved to Asheville in 1993 and finished my degree in Art at UNCA. It didn't take me too long to make my home Asheville. For me, living in Asheville is experiencing quality of life. Here I enjoy whitewater rafting, contra dancing, swing dancing, ballroom dancing, hiking, fishing, ceramics, gallery walks and the theatre. I also enjoy volunteering at Carolina Day School, community theatre, and renovating homes. I have enjoyed participating as a member of: the Affordable Housing Coalition, the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, the Asheville Board of Realtors, and Saint Eugene’s Catholic Church. Most importantly it has been the people I have met in Asheville that have made me feel at home. My son, Jack and I are grateful for each of them that we have been blessed to have embrace us as family and welcome us here in Asheville. Please let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated from the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico, with a degree in Engineering. I first came to Asheville in 1985 straight out of college to work at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain. After falling in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains and during my second summer at the YMCA, I met Christine and settled down in the Asheville area. I have worked at various jobs, including Telemon Corporation and Catholic Social Services, before finding my niche in real estate in 1995. During my twenty plus years in Asheville, I have been dedicated to the betterment of the Hispanic community. Currently, I am on the Board of the Asheville Latin Americans for Advancement Society & a member of CATI (Carolinas Association of Translators and Interpreters). My specialty is in residential property sales in both Buncombe and Henderson Counties. Since becoming a Realtor in 1996, I have been a consecutive multi-million dollar producer and have earned numerous sales awards.
